Just home from a week staying in Villa 11. We were a group of 9 ‘mature’ ladies on our annual getaway to Tenerife. It was our first time staying in PS2, we usually stay in PS3. Villa 11 is a joy, we loved the open plan, split level layout, it meant nobody was ever ‘in the kitchen ‘, and the glass panels as a divider between the stairs and the lower level really added to the feeling of spaciousness. The outside areas both upstairs and down are fantastic, with lovely furnishings – and we ALL want the flooring!!! The bend in the stairs is a bit of a nuisance when getting suitcases up and down, but that’s only minor.
The bedrooms and bathrooms are all well planned and fitted, and the abundance of electric sockets and especially the USB ports was brilliant to have. We couldn’t fault the house at all. The location is terrific with an abundance of restaurants and pubs within a couple of minutes walk. The Café de Paris on the seafront is well worth a visit, the food is top class, and we had some great nights in the Brewers Droop, with top class shows, amazing karaoke singers and excellent music. We had only 2 gripes – the beach, while only minutes away, is too rocky to lie on (no sunbeds anyway) so you’ve a 15-20 min walk to a decent sandy beach. But the biggest annoyance is that you have to pay for sunbeds and umbrellas at the pool in PS2. €2.50 for a bed, €1.50 for a mattress and €1.50 for the umbrella. Never had to pay to lie at the pool in a complex you are staying in before. It’s expensive enough to stay in PS2, the pool beds should be free for guests. But aside from that, we had a brilliant time and would definitely recommend Villa 11.
